Description:
This is a new year, and I've grown accostomed to the gruop at the Eye, so dicided to update this little biography and add some details. I'm retired and live in Salem, Oregon. Grew up on a wheat farm in Eastern Washington. Attended the Univ. if Washington and earned a degree in Urban Planning (never planned any urbs, however). I worked most of my career for the State of Oregon. First for the Dept. of Transportation. Worked for a small Division (Public Transit) where a lot of my time was spent working with local governments. That job provided wonderful opportunities to travel the West Coast, and all around Oregon. Later had my own consulllting firm, and then spent the last six years of my working life with Dept. of Human Services. Best job ever had. Worked with a small unit dealing with elder abuse. Retired some years ago. Since then have devoted myself to my true passion, photography. Along the way, I've raced sports cars, been an amature photographer, ran and managed a raptor rehabilitation center, done lots of backpacking, traveled for job and on my own, had a couple of marriages, and moved about, but always managed to stay on the West Coast.
