Jack Fry's

Great Food and Jazz

Yellow Yellow Yellow Yellow Yellow

Jack Fry's is easy to find if you know where to look. It is a long established, intimate restaurant in one of Louisville's older neighborhoods. Autographed photos of local and national stars and dignitaries pepper the walls. The food is exceptional and it is reasonably priced. I will say unequivocally that the food is as good as any I have ever been served. Visit the web site and you can almost smell the divine aromas wafting from the kitchen. That is correct, I used divine and wafting in the same sentence, twice.

It gets crowded quickly after 5 PM, many will imbibe at the bar while waiting for their table. It is a friendly crowd and mostly a loud crowd until...the music starts. Then a hush falls over the tables and a clink of glass or utensils against china is all you will hear interlaced with some very fine jazz.

There are several other good eateries on the block, but I keep going back to Jack. One day I might try something off the menu, I have a tough time passing up the chef's specials.
