Nice place for casual lunch

Godsey's, a smallish restaurant on renovated South Main Street, Jonesboro, Arkansas, is a nice little place for lunch, un pretentious and gregarious in the extreme. Since liquor liscenses have been handed out by the state to any eating establishment with enough pull (or greenbacks) to get one, this dry county has become one of the wettest around. You can get just about anything your little heart desires, including an Italian martini (which I had never heard of) that contains, of all things, rum (along with the requisite gin).
The food is OK. Just go for the atmosphere and contacts!

Next time we're driving through Jonesboro we will stop in at Godsey's. Mountain View is still dry as a bone (unless you know who to talk to).
