Keeerect name: Kaposal Rock

My grandson still calls this landmark, "Kaposal Rock". He is a tenderhearted kid who will be 11 next month. He is one of three (soon four) grandchildren I am blessed to have live less than 5 miles away from me. The day will soon come of course, when he realizes the true name is "Proposal". And so youth slips away. I wonder how he will react to the knowledge. The assurance that he can always come and stare out the window from our place toward the rock may help a bit. And we can always laugh, hug, and remember the little boy.

I love that place, I haven't been there in years though. Is there still a nesting pair of bald eagles that make their home on the rock? I used to love watching them fish in the ocean.
