I would have stayed here...until I froze.  It's ominously beautiful.

It's funny that you mentioned staying till you froze, as I remember doing just that, but for different reasons.

The shot was from December, and if I remember the temperature was around 20 degrees with a steady wind from the ocean. Standing partially in the water, I made this a 15 second exposure to get a sense of calmness, despite the constant waves. My fingers were so cold I hardly work the camera. But alas, even with all this, it still makes for good memories.
