My sister took some pretty cool pics on her travels...
Cool shot! Lucky find... Wildebeest. Volcano. (Where were you?)
Hi Catrina, I was in Tanzania a few hours from Arusha. I can't for the life of me remember the name of the volcano. There are many volcanos in Tanzania, and we went past or around a few. I was with my dear friend Damien who recently passed away. He was a film maker who went around in his own safari truck educating local tribes on their land rights. He fought against corrupt NGO's. Basically Damien was a hero. He took me off the beaten track and into areas of "the bush" that tourists never see. So many incredible stories from that long weekend. I spent a month in Tanzania. My base was an artist residency in Arusha (http://www.warmheartart.com/0). I was working on my creative project, Zoe Bios (zoebios.com).

Terrible about your friend. But amazing that you got to be in Tanzania for a month + got access to the back roads and etc. Super cool. Good luck w Zoe Bios, Katie! <3
