I have stood there. It is fitting that the resting place of The King of Rock n Roll be as tacky as it is. [Too bad that such a talented and sexy voice came to be equated with the overdone parody of himself you see in all the Elvis impersonators.]
Quite a tribute, though, that impersonators can still make a living pretending to be/acting like a man from such a modest beginning. ( I saw him live in concert in Jacksonville, FL in 1956.)
I think it needs a lifesize bronze statue of Elvis standing in front of the pool. You wonder what his daughter thinks of the Graceland frozen in time location. I guess the income makes it acceptable to all concerned.
