Renaissance Lady... "one of a kind", snapped up by the National Gallery of Art.
I've loved this particular statue ever since the first time my grandfather took me to the National Gallery of Art in Washington DC back in 1976. I always wondered if the model really did look that serene, and when I'm in need of calming, I look at this picture that I took on one of my visits.
I must see this sculpture on my next visit. It is truly serene and beautiful!
