A hermit monastery perched atop a rock pillar. Uncommon, to say the least...
The Holy Monastery of Varlaam (c. 1541 A.D.) in Meteora, Greece.
The Meteora (from the Greek ???????, meaning "high in the air") complex of monasteries is a UNESCO world heritage site.
Oh, gosh, I wish this photo wasn't washed out and the monastery smack-dab in the center.
Where else would a hermit monastery be?
In the words of Popeye... "I've stood it till I can't stands it no more!" Abby... you are so full of yourself... to overflowing. I have no idea how old your shell is but your opinions only speak of someone who has a very immature view of the world and of art. Perfection my dear, is totally subjective... as are aesthetics. Period. Yours is just one such point of view... which, if you knew more, and better, you would stop foisting in great steaming heaps on everyone. Like you know anything! ...or that anyone cares what you think! A true artist would know better. Lord save us from the critics!
