"Is it Peterman or not?"

The Unabridged, Official Scoring Guide

When deciding whether something is right for the pages of the J. Peterman catalog, or for a topic of discussion on Peterman's Eye, we ask ourselves the question, "Is it Peterman or not?"

Beginning March 8th at 10 a.m. (EST) it will be your turn to answer the question with a vote.

Photos should be of a person, place or oddity that is well, "Peterman," in your own opinion. It's not only about clothing; it's about anything you believe is "Peterman" (Uncommon, curious, historical, quirky, wry... you get the idea.)

The Score

Example_score_box

Each photo you view ask yourself, "Is it Peterman or not?" The scoring meter ranges from 1 (least) to 5 (most) "Peterman." Choose the range that you feel is most or least "Peterman." Select the number. Click "Score!" Next photo loads. Repeat. As you're scoring, feel free to leave a comment (if you're logged in) on those photos that warrant such.

Word to the wise

Things that might receive a "least" rating... toast. instant coffee. audits.

Things that might receive a "most" rating... Ramona 1929 28' Baby Gar. Extra-wide peak lapels, two-button front, bi-swing back, with belt piece: pure 1940's. The Villa Cipriani (Asolo, Italy). Jim Corbett (Hunted man-eaters in India and wrote books about it.)
