I've gone to my farm in Kentucky for the weekend. It's a great place to relax, do a little hard physical labor, and forget about the rest of the world. If you don't have such a place, I highly suggest you get one.
In the meantime, here's a little something to ponder before planning your next trip over the Pond.

I was in Paris when the Euro came out. I felt so badly for the merchants. We could still use our Francs but they had to give change in Euros. They all had two calculatros to try to make the change over.
My friends and I must have raided the local ATMs several times that first day.
I forgot to mention that while I do like the ease of using the currency through out the EU, I miss the Lira and the Franc and all that wonderful art work.
I still have some euros from Ireland. I love that each country mints their own with a little difference (the Irish coins have a harp on them), but they're all the same money.
I kept most of my yuan from China... everything was so well-priced it was hard to spend. One thing I liked about Italy was that everything was a round price. You didn't have things for 5 and 67 cents or something like that. I read recently that the penny's days in our economy may be numbered (horrid unintentional pun). Thoughts?
